Construction of New Sai Raksha Bus Shelter by SKota Samithi - Inagural function (25-12-17)

With enormous grace and divine blessings of Bhagawan Baba Varu, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, S Kota, Zone-II of Vizianagaram District has constructed a NEW SAI RAKSHA BUS SHELTER at Laxmipuram Junction near Jami at the cost of Rs. 3.5 lakhs for facilitating the people to take shelter while travelling and making around during all the seasons.  The villagers from 5 villages of Laxmipuram, Jaddetivalasa, Ramabhadrapura Agraharam, Veerabhadrapeta and Jagaram Kallalu come and take shelter at this newly constructed Bs shelter.  It was the bitter experience of the Convener of S Kota Samithi Sri T Kesava Rao who directly witnessed the incident of collapsing the very very old bus stand and he observed that people come with covering their heads by Palm leaves not to drench themselves during rainy season.  When the present inertia of the old bus shelter was in a dilapidated condition and completely collapsed during rain, the Convener Sri Kesava Rao had an inspiration to construct a new shelter for the people of these 5 villages. He immediately talked to the village Grama Sarpanch and other leaders for providing land for construction of new Bus shelter.  All the prominent personalities have agreed upon the proposal and came forward for completion of the task. The construction of the new Bus Shelter has been completed within 3 months and ready for use.

The newly constructed BUS SHELTER was inaugurated by our Honourable Guest Sri S G Chalam Garu, State President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, AP/TS on 25-12-17 at 10 am amidst  acclamations of the devotees, offered at the lotus feet of Bhagawan and made available for the public.  The functioned started with Jyoti Prajwalan by the State President Sri S G Chalam Garu and Sri CD Rama Mohana Rao, District President.  The garlands were offered to Bhagawan by Sri V Subba Rao, State Coordinator for PN Services and Sri M Satyanarayana, State Jt. Sevadal Coordinator.  The Ribbon was cut by our Respected State President and the Pylon was unveiled by Sri S Papinaidu, District Education Coordinator.  After completion of Puja, Nama Sankirtan was performed for 20 minutes and started a spiritual meeting with the devotees and villagers.

The inaugural speech was delivered by our District President and appreciated the seva rendered by S Kota Samithi and congratulated the Convener for his efficient work.  He told that such permanent seva is required to be done by all the Samithis which SWAMY likes.

The State President Sri S G Chalam Garu addressed the gathering and enlightened the devotees about the qualities of a devotee, how one should behave in a spiritual way, how a devotee should have patience and vividly told them the rules of the organization.

As a part of recognition, the Mason Sri Ganesh who constructed the Bus Shelter, Sri Sattibabu, Vastu Pundit, Grama Surpanch Sri Errinaidu and Sri Laxmana Rao, Sub-Inspector of Police were felicitated with mementoes by our State President.

Commemorating the auspicious occasion, an eye camp was organized for the people of Penta Sreerampuram.  13 spectacles were distributed to the selected people. A poor boy named Ramu was distributed with 2 Bed sheets and 1 dress.

On this occasion, 200 people were fed with lunch as Swamy Prasadam.  The entire program was anchored by Sri S Papinadu, DEC and monitored by Sri K S S N Murty (Koti).  Sri Sathya Sai Bhajan Mandali, JAMI hosted the program.  The program concluded with offering Divya Mangala Harathi to Bhagawan Baba.
