Grama sankirthans in mandals close to Puttaparthi

Daily Grama sankirthan in three mandals: I week, April 2016.
Keeping up with Swami’s childhood tradition of grama sankeerthan, a few sevadal members based in the towns and villages around Puttaparthi have planned GRAMA SANKEERTHAN and other sevas, on all days of the month, in different villages of the three mandals of Puttaparthi, Kothacheruvu and Bukkaptanam.
Four different groups of sevadal , each with twelve to fifteen volunteers, will cover five to eight villages every month, which are close to their place of residence. The sevadal groups will visit the villages from 5.15 a.m. till 7.30 a.m.
While grama sankeerthan is on, prospective Balvikas teachers will be identified and books will be given to them.
Within six months, all the villages in the three manadals of Puttaparthi, Kothacheruvu and Bukkapatnam will be covered.
The Program details for all the villages will be as follows:
4.30 a.m. to 4:40 a.m. : Sevadal to start from Prasanthi Nilayam / nodal point villages for grama sankeerthan seva to designated village.
5.00 a.m. : Assemble at designated village for seva. 5:15 a.m. : Omkaram and suprabhatham.
5:20 a.m. to 6.45 a.m. : Maha grama sankeerthan covering every street of the village, along with sevadal, local singers, villagers, neighborhood villagers.
6.45 a.m. to 7.15 a.m. : Seva activities such as Balvikas teachers training /satsang etc. the depending on the participation of local villagers .
7.15 a.m. to 7.30 a.m. : distribution of Pulihara / Chakrapongal prasadm along with vibhoothi and photo distribution to assembled villagers who participated in the grama seva.
7.35 a.m. : Departure from the village to Prasanthi Nilayam / nodal point.
From 1 April to 12 April 2016, in the following villages of Puttaparthi, Kothacheruvu and Bukkaptanam mandals, grama sankeerthan and prasadam seva is fulfilled under the coordination of Dist office bearers Mr. Viswanath Reddy, Mr Adinarayana Reddy, Mr. Krishnamurthy and Samithi coordinator Mr .Kondamarayudu.
These activities are conceptualized by Sri C. Rommel garu, IFS (retd).
1st April 2016 : The above sevalu were performed at Guvvalgutta palli (nodal village) which is 17 km from Puttaparthy. The sevadal group comprised of Mr. Chandrayudu, Mr. C K Adinarayana, Mr. Chennakrishna. Supporting villages being Kappalabanda, Jagarajupalli, Venkatagari palli, under the guidance of Mr Ram Seshu Reddy of Gorantala and Mr. Nagabhusanam of Bathalapalli. Eighteen sevadal members and fifty three local villagers have participated.
2nd April 2016: The above sevalu were performed at Mamillakunta cross, which is 9 kms from Puttaparthy, under the guidance of Mr Sai Krishna and Mr. Ramakrishna. Supporting villages being Guntipalli, Kappalabanda, Jagarajupalli and Venkatgari palli. Twelve sevadal and eighteen local villagers have participated.
