History of the case:

 

Master Madhav came to Chennaram Mobile camp held on 6.7.14 with heart complaint.  Doctors available in the camp seen the patient and referred for further cardiac evaluations at Hyderabad.

 

Accordingly the patient has been taken to Sunshine Hospital with complaints of shortness of breath and on and off cough, cyanosis clubbing mild chest pain. 

2-D Echo revealed that the patient is Congenital Heart Defect-Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), large sub Aortic VSD, with bidirectional shunt. 

Patient is admitted in the hospital on 24.7.2014 for further evaluation.  Patient is evaluated with major surgical profile which were in normal limits  and Intra Cardiac Repair (ICR)  done on 30.7.14.  Pre and post operative procedure in the hospital stay is uneventful and patient discharged on 6.8.14.

HYDERABAD DISTRICT-FOLLOW UP CASES -HEART SURGERY

 

Patient Name: Sri K. Sadanand, (M/45), Doodi Bowli, Umda Bazar, Old city,  Hyderabad:

Date of Admission:       31.10.14, Diagnosis: Coronary Artery Disease –Surgery: 6.11.14 - CABG 2 Grafts

History of the case: Sri K. Sadanand, Old city, Hyderabad is a poor man His earnings per month is Rs.3,000/-.

He was suffering with retrosternal  chest pain, associated with giddiness, sweating, shortness of breath on exertion. He approached Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram for treatment.  Since the condition of the patient was becoming serious and was in need of urgent surgery, family members of the patient approached Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Hyderabad in October, 2014 for help.  

Patient has been taken to Dr. Anil Kumar Mulpur, Chief Cardiothoracic surgeon, Sunshine Hospital, Secunderabad immediately.

K Sadananad

 

On the advise of Dr. Anil Kumar Mulpur, patient was admitted in the hospital on 31.10.14 and evaluated with pre cath investigations which were within normal limits.  CABG x 2 GRAFTS were done on 6.11.14. Pre and post procedure hospital stay was uneventful. General condition was fair, vitals stable and was discharged with suitable medication on 11.11.14. Two post surgery visits were completed and the condition of the patient is very good.

Patient and their family members expressed their gratitude for the services rendered by the members of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Hyderabad. Patient and his wife expressed desire to join in the organization for rendering service and also join their two children in Balavikas soon.

Mahabubnagar (Chennaram Follow Up cases)

Cardiac Case – Follow up case- 2014

Name of the Patient: Master P. Madhav, (M/13), Penimilla (v), Mahabubnagar District.

Master  P.  Madav, (M/13), Penimella village, Mahabunagar District was suffering from heart problem. Parents brought the patient to Chennaram Mobile Medical Camp on 6.7.2014.  Doctors examined the patient and referred to Cardiologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Patient was having complaints of shortness of breath since childhood, on and off cough, Cyanosis +, clubbing, mild chest pain.  ECG showed sinus rhythm.  2-D Echo revealed that the patient was having Critical Congenital Heart Disease and TOF (Tetrology of Fallot), large sub-aortic VSD with bi directional shunt. 

Cardiac Surgery

Patient has been taken to Dr. Anil Kumar Mulpur, Chief Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Sunshine Hospital, Secunderabad for admission and surgery. Intra Cardiac Repair was done on 30.7.2014.  Pre and post procedure hospital stay is uneventful and the boy was discharged in stable condition on 6.8.2014. Parents expressed their gratitude for the services rendered by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations.

Chennaram Follow up case: EPIGASTRIC HERNIA

Name of the Patient: Balaswamy (M/68) Patient came to the Mobile Medical camp held at Chennaram on 07.09.2014 with a complaint of swelling on mid abdomen.  Doctors in the camp examined the patient and he was identified as Epigastric Hernia and referred to Gandhi Hospital for surgery.  Patient has been taken to Gandhi Hospital and admitted in Unit VI on 13.9.14. After investigations surgery was done on 19.9.2014 and patient has been discharged from the hospital on 25.9.2014 after recovery. Patient and family members expressed their happiness on the services rendered by the organization members.

GOLLAPALLI MEGA MEDICAL CAMP HELD ON 31.8.14 – FOLLOW UP CASE:

NAME OF THE PATIENT: GADDAMEEDI SATTAIAH, (M/48), S/O CHANDRAIAH, MUNIGADAPA (V), MEDAK DISTRICT:

DATE OF ADMISSION: 5.9.14, NAME OF THE HOSPITAL: SIDDARDHA HOSPITAL, SIDDIPETA

DATE OF SURGERY: 6.9.14, DATE OF DISCHARGE: 11.9.14.

Sri Gaddameedi Sattaiah, (M/48) suffering from “LEFT GENU VALGUM WITH OSTEOARTHRITIS” came to the Mega Medical Camp.  He has been examined and suggested for surgery to correct the deformity.  He has been taken to Siddhardha Hospital, Siddipeta on 5.9.14. Dr. I.S. Surendra, M.S (Ortho), examined the patient and admitted for surgery.  Surgery to the deformity was done on 6.9.14 successfully and  patient was discharged from the hospital on 11.9.14 after recovery. Patient and family members expressed their happiness for the services rendered to the patient.

ENT CASES IDENTIFIED IN MEGA MEDICAL CAMP HELD AT GOLLAPALLI (V) ON 31.8.14.  – FOLLOW UP ACTION.

NAME OF THE PATIENTS: 1) MASTER T. BHANU, (M/14), 2) MASTER T. KRISHNA (M/06)

The two patients came to the Mega Medical camp held at Gollapalli on 31.8.14 with a complaint that both are having bilateral hearing loss and cannot speak properly.  Audiogram test was conducted at the camp itself and referred for Hearing Aid testing. The two patients have been brought to  Siddhardha Hospital, Siddipeta. Dr. I.S. Surendra, M.S. M.Ch. Ortho and Dr. Ravikant, ENT examined the patients and after audiogram test  both patients were provided with hearing aids.  Patient  response  to the doctors talk  can be seen in the above picture.

VISAKHAPATNAM:

 

SRI K. NAGARAJU, (M/30), HEAMATOCELE SURGERY DONE ON 25.8.2014:

Sri K. Nagaraju, (M/30), working as a watchman in Visakhapatnam came for health check up on 10.8.2014. Dr. G.S.V.Rao, who examined the patient and referred to Dr. P. Shyam Prasad, M.S., M.Ch, F.A.M.S, FIAGES, Surgeon,. The patient was presented with (Rt) Heamatocele.  All investigations are within normal limit.  Orchiectomy was done under spinal anesthesia on 25.8.2014.  Post operative period went on uneventful.  Dr. Shyam Prasad, MS, Surgeon did the surgery and given medicines at free of cost. Doctor said that the services he did to the patient are Swami’s Prasadam.  Patient was discharged on 1.9.2014 after recovery.

BABY DUVVADA  TEENA CHOUDARY, (F/5), PESARAPADU (V), PALASA (M), SRIKAKULAM DIST: 

Parents of Baby Teena Chowdar who is suffering from Leukemia and sought correct guidance and treatment.  On seeing the reports of the patient, CBP, Routine Chemistry, Bone Marrow Aspiration report, it was confirmed that the patient is suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia-L2 Variant and needs immediate Chemotherapy treatment at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

Parents of the patient were informed  in length about the gravity of the disease and the baby was admitted in Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital on 3.7.2014  The first phase of Chemotherapy treatment took nearly 25 days and she got discharged on 27.7.14.  Due to correct guidance and timely admission in the hospital, the baby received good results. The second phase of Chemotherapy started 9.8.14.  Due to Bhagawan’s immense Grace, the present condition of the patient is  satisfactory and recovering fast.

MEGA MEDICAL CAMP HELD AT MADHARAM (V), PARIGI (M), RANGA REDDY  DISTRICT 

ON 3.8.14 FOLLOW UP CASE

 

KUM. K. SIRISHA, (F/14),  D/O GOPAL, MADHARAM (V)

Kum. K. Sirisha, developed a lump in her left breast in size 5 x 3 cms since last three months. During Mega Medical camp held at Madharam (v), Parigi (M), R.R. District, Sri K. Gopal, father of Kum. Sirisha, (F/14), brought her to the camp for medical check up.  Doctors in the camp examined the patient and confirmed and advised for surgery.  Parents of the patients were explained in detail about the ailment and they were requested them to bring the patient to Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad for further investigations and surgery. Patient was admitted in Gandhi Hospital on 05.8.2014. FNAC confirmed as Fibroadenoma.  Surgery was done on 11.8.2014 and post surgery is uneventful and the patient has been discharged from the hospital on 14.9.2014. Parents of the patient expressed their gratitude to Swamy for the help received to cure their daughter. First review after surgery was done at Gandhi Hospital on 26.8.2014.

VISAKHAPATNAM:

 Master G. Rajendra Babu, S/o Nagaraju, Kothuru village came to the Mobile Medical camp held at Bangarumetta, Tribal Village, Paderu (M) on 20.7.2014 with a fracture on his left wrist joint.  The case has been brought to Visakhapatnam and admitted in Seven Hills Hospital, Visakhapatnam on 21.7.2014 for further treatment. 

X-Ray of Left wrist joint revealed Mal united type-2 fracture separation distal radial Epiphysis. Dr. Sushank Kumar Mallik, MS Ortho, Seven Hills Hospital, Visakhapatnam, has done surgery on 24.7.2014 and the boy was discharged after recovery on 30.7.2014.

HYDERABAD DISTRICT:

 

ANAJPUR CLUSTER – ENT SURGERY –Master Akshay (M/12) Siddipeta:

The parents brought the patient to Mobile Medical Camp held  on 23.2.14 at Anajpur. Doctors in the camp examined the patient and referred to ENT for further evaluation.  Patient has been brought to Apollo Hospital, Jubilee hills, Hyderabad on 3.3.14 with a complaint of hard hearing of left ear and discharge.  After necessary investigations,  Tymponoplasty surgery done to the left ear under general anesthesia on 3.7.14. Post operative recovery of the patient is uneventful and discharged on 3.7.14 evening.

Parents of the patient expressed their happiness for the services rendered by the SSSSO, Hyderabad.

FOLLOW UP CASE: ABDOMINAL HYSTERECTOMY SURGERY

Name of the Patient: Smt. P. Eswaramma (F/50)

City Samithi have adopted Kanamam (v) and conducted Mobile Medical activity on 11.5.14. Smt. P. Eswaramma (F/50), came to the camp with a complaint of prolapsed uterus.  Gynecologist available in the camp examined the patient and advised for Hysterectomy surgery.

Active Sevadal members of City Samithi have taken and admitted  the patient in KGH and total Abdominal Hysterectomy surgery was done 17.6.14.  Post surgery is uneventful.  Patient discharged from the hospital after recovery on 28.6.2014. Patient and family members expressed their happiness for the services rendered by the organization.

 

FOLLOW UP CASE: SRI K. APPA RAO, (M/55), KANANMAM (V):

Sri K. Appa Rao, (M/55), suffering from Femoral Hernia came to the Mobile Medical  camp conducted on 11.5.14 at Kananmam village.  Doctors in the camp examined the patient and advised for Femoral Hernia surgery.  Patient has been taken to NRI Medical College Hospital, Visakhapatnam on 14.5.14 and admitted. Necessary investigations have been done on the same day and surgery done successfully on 15.5.14 and discharged after recovery.

FOLLOW UP CASES: VISAKHAPATNAM DISTRICT:

SEVEN CATARACT SURGERIES DONE ON 10.6.14 AT REGIONAL EYE  HOSPITAL, VISAKHAPATNAM

During the Mobile Medical Camp conducted at Gottipalli, Visakhapatnam on 08.06.2014, seven patients have been identified for cataract surgeries.  They have been brought to Regional Eye Hospital, Visahapatnam on 09.06.2014 and were admitted.  Surgeries to Sri P. Adinarayana (M/65), Smt. Y. Venkayamma (F/60), Smt. B. Venkayamma (F/80), Smt. M. Chinnammalu, (F/65), Smt. P. Pydammalu (F/70), Smt. M. Suramma (F/65), Smt. B. Simhachalam (F/70) were done on 10.06.2014 and they were discharged  on 12.06.2014.  Patients have expressed their happiness convened their gratitude to our Swamy.

Medikonda Lakshmi (F/38):

Smt.   Medikonda Lakshmi, (F/38)  came to the Mobile Medical Camp held at South Chiruvolu Lanka, near Avanigadda, Krishna District, on 23.3.2014, with abdomen pain, irregular menstrual cycles and leucorrhoea due to infection. Gynecologist in the camp suggested for ultrasound abdominal scanning.  The patient was brought to Machilipatnam and got the scanning done. Doctor seen the scanning report and informed that  the patient is having FIBROIDS of uterus and advised surgery.

M Lakshmi-Krishna

Accordingly patient has been admitted in Sri Sai Rakshita Hospital on 25th April, 2014. Dr. A. Sree Durga, MBBS, DGO, has done Abdominal Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salpingo Oophorectomy  on 26th April, 2014. By SWAMYs grace post operative period was eventless. Patient is recovered and comfortable and  has been discharged on 2nd  May, 2014. Patient is being followed up regularly by the Gynecologist.

Manisekhar (M/7):

Master N. Munisekhar (M/7) hails from SSSVIP Village Pedda Kannali ST Colony, near Srikalahasti, Chittoor District. The boy had  problem of recurrent respiratory infections from childhood. Parents approached the District organization and sought their help.

 

Patient has been taken to S.V. Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupathi and was admitted on 21.02.2014. ECG and 2-D Echo reveals that patient was suffering from Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). Patient underwent ASD device closure on 23.02.2014 with good result.  Patient was stable and he was discharged on 25.02.2014.  

 

Sri T.Bathinaiah, District SSSVIP Coordinator and Sri N. Lokanandham have taken initiative and brought the boy and his mother to SVIMS Hospital for medical examinations, consultations with the Doctors, and for surgery.

Munisekhar

 

Veerasam (M/40): 

The patient came to the Sri Sathya Sai  Mobile Medical camp conducted at Malkajigiri Slum on 29.12.13.  Doctors referred the case to ENT Hospital for evaluation.  He came to Apollo Hospital on 03.03.2014.  Dr. K. Ram Babu examined the patient and PTA was done.  The patient required Tymponoplasty surgery (hole in ear drum).  Briefed the father of the patient about the surgery and it was done on 17th March, 2014 by Dr. K. Ram Babu garu, Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad under general anesthesia. Post operative recovery is uneventful  and the patient was discharged on the same day late evening.  Dressing is changed on 19.04.2014. Patient has gone for removal of dressing  again on 25.04.2014. Final review will be on 16.4.14. 

Veerasam ENT Case

 

Master Abhilesh (M/09): 

Master Abhilash, S/o Sri Vijay, was suffering from sore throat, mouth breathing, ear pain since last two years.  Parents brought the patient to Mobile Medical Camp held  on 23.02.2014 at Anajpur.  Doctors in the camp examined the patient and he was referred to ENT for further evaluation.   Dr. K. Ram Babu, ENT Surgeon, Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad examined the patient and confirmed that the patient was suffering from Chronic Adenotonsillitis.  Patient was admitted in Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad on 17.04.2014 and surgery was performed.

Master Abhilesh

Post operative recovery is uneventful. Patient has come for review on 24.04.2014.  He is totally recovered.  Parents expressed utmost satisfaction on successful surgery and expressed gratitude for the services rendered by the members of Sri Sathya Sai Seva organization.  

Sri V Bangaru Raju (M/37): 

Chavitidibbalu is one of the SSSVIP villages adopted by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, East Godavari District. One Shri Bangaru Raju, (M/37) residing at Chavitidibbalu (v), Y. Rayavaram (M), East Godavari District (Cell No. 9493777259) was suffering from Leukemia (Blood cancer), in advanced stage. The patient hails from a very poor family and he approached SSSSO, E.G. District for  medical assistance, treatment etc. who in turn approached the State Joint Coordinator, Mobile Hospitals, AP for assistance.  

Bangaraiah

The State Coordinator, after consultation with the local Doctors, admitted the patient in MNJ Hospital, Hyderabad on 17.04.2014 and held discussions with Dr. Radha, Oncologist. Arrangements have been made for further investigations like Bone Marrow tests etc. and Chemotherapy  treatment   started. Three units of blood was given.  Every alternative day four packets of platelets are being given.  Patient is under the care of Dr. Radha,  Oncologist  and progressing well. 

Active Members of SSSSO, Khairatabad Samithi, Hyderabad are regularly visiting hospital and meeting the Doctors  and arranging platelets and blood to the patient.  Free accommodation for  patient attendants is also provided.
