SSSSO, Anantapur dt Zonal youth orientation programme at Penukonda.
With the Divine Blessings and Grace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Hindupur zone youth meet was held at SSSS Samithi, Penukonda on 23rd Oct 2016 to discuss, review and plan youth seva activities in Anantapur district.The meet was preceded by the morning nagar sankirthana by the Penukonda devotees. The programme started in the morning at 10 a.m after hoisting of Prasanthi flag. The zonal level meeting was presided by Dr. T. Ramanjappa, Dist President, SSSSO, Anantapur. The Chief Guest  Sri C. Rommel garu IFS (retd),  long serving Sai devotee. In his opening remarks Dr Ramanjappa spoke of the various ongoing service activities in the district. He stressed the need to follow dharma and the need of namasmarana and seva.
Sri C. Rommel garu said we are all fortunate to have come into Sai fold. He narrated many miracles that Swamy performed for his wellbeing. He said Sai devotees should do daily a minimum of 6 hrs seva.
 
 
Sri T.Madhusudhana Rao, State Joint Coordinator for Balvikas  spoke about the role of youth in the organisation through powerpoint presentations and videos.Sri Prasanth Sai of Sri Sathya Sai VidyaVahini spoke of how Sri Sathya Sai started Vidya Vahini programme and how the youth can get involved in the programme. After the lunch Sri Ravi Kiran of State Disaster management team explained through powerpoint presentation, the need and scope of participation of youth in this crucial seva. Sri C.Viswanath Reddy, dist.coordinator, service wing (Gents), expressed satisfaction over the more than allotted number of sevadal turning up for April sevalu at Prasanthi Nilayam, especially of stadium cleaning exclusively by Anantapur sevadal but expressed the need of more sevadal participation during November sevalu. Coordinator - Archives, spoke about the need of prompt communication in reporting seva activities and the use of social media like WhatsApp. Sri C R Rao and the samithi convener Sri Ramakrishna also spoke. Eleven blankets were distributed to the deserving, donated by an aged retired philanthropic devotee.
