Subcommittees' meet at Kothacheruvu

With the Divine Grace of Bhagawan the subcommittees’ meeting was held on 25th May 2014 from 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM at Kothacheruvu town, as part of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 90th Birthday and SSSS Orgaisation’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.

The meeting started with bhajan at 9.30 AM. Before starting the meeting the District President of SSSSO Anantapur district Prof. Dr. T. Ramanjappa hoisted the Prasanthi organisation flag. As a foreword he spoke of the subcommittees meetings in the context of Sri Sathya Sai’s 90th birthday and SSSSO’s 50th anniversary celebrations and in developing second line of leadership in the district.

Firstly Sri C. Rommel, a long time devotee of Bhagawan is actively touring throughout Anantapur district enthusing and advising the samithi, bhajan mandali members about the necessity of unity among ourselves and in taking Swamy’s teachings to the public.

Sri T.Madhusudhana Rao, convenor, Hindupur samithi spoke about Balvikas subcommittee activities and the utmost importance of Balvikas in the organisation. He presented and discussed Balvikas activities' action plan alongwith twenty planned activities.

Smt M. Madhavilatha, Dist. Coordinator, spiritual wing spelt out detailed action plan for 2014, month-wise including personal-level and organization-level sadhanas. Later Dr. R Venugopal Setty, Dist. Coordinator, study circles, spoke on the importance of practicing nine point code of conduct and Likhitha Japam of Sai Namam.

Sri M S N Sastry, District Cultural Subcommittee in-charge spoke on the action plan for 2014 regarding bhajan workshops, namasmarana exhibitions, bhajan training for trainers, public bhajans, music concerts, sahasra galarchana etc.

Dr. R. Ramachandra Murthy, Dist.Coordinator, Educare and public activities subcommittee in-charge discussed action plan regarding public seminars, workshops and job melas for youth, exhibitions, sarva dharma sthupas, public-goodness sign boards and panel discussions.

Dr. T. Ramanjappa, District President, discussed the action plan 2014 for subcommittee on seva activities. He said National nutritional projects in the SSSVIP villages, vocational training and livelihoods programme at Pamudurthy SSSVIP village, grama sapthaham at Pothulakunta SSSVIP village, agriculture based grama sabha, blood donation camp, EHV programmes, tool kits for the needy, disaster management camp etc are planned to be taken up as seva activities.

Sri M. Krishna, Dist. Coordinator, Youth Wing (Gents), Sri C. R. Rao, Dist. Incharge, COD, Sri C.Viswanath Reddy, Dist. Coordinator, Service Wing (Gents), Sri N. Adi Narayana Reddy, Dist. Incharge, Prasanthi Nilayam Seva (Gents) also spoke on the occasion.

Earlier Sri. T. Prabhakar Rao, Superintending Engineer, RWS & S, Anantapur district, spoke about the progress of the rural water supply to all 118 villages surrounding, Prasanthi Nilayam taken up by the Central Trust at a cost of Rupees 85 crores. He commended the selfless service rendered by Sevadal members and the faith public have in the Sevadal. He assured he will officially cooperate in the sanctioning of construction of rural household toilets proposed by the SSSS organisation.

District office bearers, convenors of samithis, bhajan mandali in-charges. various subcommittee members, Sri. T Nagaraju, Sri. B. Kondameedirayudu, Sri O. Krishna Murthy, Sri Seetha Ramulu participated actively in the meeting.

After gramasankirthan, mangala harathi was offered to Swamy. In all 300 Sai devotees and 20 Sevadal volunteers participated in the meeting.
